Sayaka Maizono

Sayaka was always a bit annoying to me from the beginning of the game. From her demeanor to the fact that she is a complete stereotype without a single unique trait, she has never been my favorite. However, I respect her drive and motivation to protect her friends no matter the cost. Although her design is a bit ordinary too, I think her looks and voice are both somewhat cute! Still, I love almost the entire DR1 cast, but I do not care for Sayaka.

Mukuro Ikusaba

During her time pretending to be Junko, I really loved Mukuro’s cheery attitude from the get-go. Although her real personality must have been far different, I admittedly did like her as Junko. She was very headstrong and determined, and while being a somewhat airheaded diva, she was pretty smart. I wish we could have seen more of her, even if it was through flashbacks or something.

Junko Enoshima

I don’t understand how people can like her other than thinking she’s pretty or having a thing for the “crazy” characters of DR. She’s interesting, but I don’t find her very likable, even compared to characters like Nagito, Mikan, and Kokichi. The bottom line is that she is incredibly annoying and just... disgusting, although she is sort of funny, at times.

Leon Kuwata

This guy really deserved better. Leon is such a sweetheart, and I admire both his talent with baseball and his dreams of music. I’m sure he’s an amazing singer! You probably know I have a thing for dumb, sweet characters, and Leon is definitely one of them. The way he uses words like “mega” and “lame” and “uncool” and “totally” is super dorky and I love him for it. I really wish we could’ve seen his character develop more.

Chihiro Fujisaki

Chihiro was not a character I really liked at first, but now he is one of my absolute favorite characters! I don’t know what it is that I love so much about him, maybe how shy he is, or how much determination he has? I admire his strength and how smart and talented he is! Everything about him makes me smile. I see a lot of hate directed towards him, which he most definitely does not deserve! He deserves nothing less than the world!

Mondo Owada

I have always loved Mondo Owada! He makes me smile so much, and he is one of my very favorite characters ever! He is so much stronger than he knows. I want nothing more than for Mondo to be happy! Ever since this man said “nice to fuckin’ meet ya” I was in love. He absolutely deserved so much better!
